New Moon

Becky calls my reading lately an addiction! I think it is just because she has never seen how I get when I emerse myself into a book, sometimes series of books. Hehe Maybe she has, I'm not to sure, but I do know that she is probably right. I try to stear away from books with follow-up's for that exact reason! However, I never regret it! I must remind you all that my recent reading phase was spurred on by finishing the 7th Harry Potter book. Now, imagine if all 7 were out when I started! You wouldn't have seen me for a month (or however long it took me)!
I made it through the 2nd book in the Twilight series, New Moon. I say "made it through" because I got so caught up in it that I ALMOST put it down! Hahaha However, when I took a break from the book, the anxiety that I was trying to lose was still there. Mostly, because I needed to know how it all ended. I'm happy I finished (as if I could resist)! The pressure, sadneess and hole in Bella's heart seeped off the pages and into me! I know it sounds silly, but thats the best way to explain how enthraled I get and why I don't always read books. The first 10 chapters or so of New Moon had my hands freezing cold, every time that I picked up the book! I was a little pissed at first that a character was missing, that was in the first book. However, Tamsin reassured me that it was worth continuing. Even so, the story lacking that character seemed to appeal to me, but not until I decided to read the ENTIRE thing. I just had to do it fast because my Anxiety was high! All is well. Things never end as you like, but I am relieved that it ended better then I hoped! It's a good book and I suggest it to anyone who has ventured to Twilight. However, if you don't want any anxiety in your life then don't pick it up! hehehehe I loved it and would for sure read it again! The 3rd book sounds just as good (I read the 1st chapter of Eclipse in the back of New Moon....a sneak peak)! I am excited and you can all expect another boring book review.
Nothing exciting going on anyhow....oh The Family got a new car today! Thats exciting! hehe Now they can fit EVERYONE in the car for the trip to San Trope this summer! Fun stuff. Ohhhh AND I have the infamous bike back. With a brand new lock and better baby seat on it! Wahooo I missed that bike a lot! Sooo much better then the others! Hmmm nothing else...Im going to bed early tonight. I have nothing to read, no one online, and a lack of sleep to catch up on! Nighty night!

Oh great, now you have to search for the book Eclipse! Where's a Costco when you need one?

The infamous bike was the one stolen and retrieved, I presume? What happened to the bike you purchased for 50 Euros a few weeks ago? And, how did you get the lock off the infamous bike?

Well, anyway, go to shooshy-by or nighty night.

love love love...hmmm...good books. YES!
I understand this love. Although...with me...I hold on to each one like a dear friend and take sometimes a couple months reading just one. I like to revisit it. Strange. I know.
