Euro Style Chocolate Rolo Cookies!

You have all waited long enough! I finally have pictures of the kids for you! Today Myriam had some friends over and they also brought their kids to play. I took the opportunity to take some photographs. There were about 8 kids here. So, I have posted pictures of the whole get together. They were all pretty well behaved, but exhausting.
Earlier in the day Max, Lisa and Beaudine all helped me make cookies. Which was a bit of a challenge! I converted everything, but they don't have all the ingredients that I am familiar with. For example: Vanilla Extract is Vanilla Sugar and they don't usually use Shortening. So to make it easier I used the closest thing I had, which was grandmas oatmeal cookies. I took out the oatmeal and we instead added Rolo's in the middle! MMM They turned out better then I thought, but a little dry. Still good though. The kids Loved them. MMM Carmel and chocolate! It was a good experiment and fun for the kids to help. It turns out max loves baking and was a pretty good help.
Ok well the pictures below start out with the Van Zelm Family. First is Max (age 4) and his mom, then Beaudine (age 2) and last is Lisa. The first 8 pics are the family and then everything after that are their friends.

Well, hopefully that gave you an idea of what they all are like. Today was fun, but now I feel bad for the pligs! lol ahahha sorry couldn't resist. They are all very sweet though.
Tomorrow I am meeting up with Beck-Dogg to hang out. In the morning I get to sleep in! Hooray for the weekend. Time to Recharge my battery and see Becky. You will probably hear all about it. Maybe we will take some pictures of Amsterdam too! I think Becky finally solved her camera problem. Well Goodnight for now.
DAG!

You haven't lost your touch with the camera! Your family looks just like I pictured them. That little Beaudine is adorable. When she smiles, she reminds me of you when you were about her age. Hope you have a terrific time with Beck-a-roo!
