New years was not as planned. We had tickets to an event in Amsterdam. The following happened in this order:
*Got ready and made it to the train station only to find out the trains stopped EARLY!!!
*Took a €55 Cab to Amsterdam
*Lost tickets that we paid €50 for!!!
*Missed the fireworks!!!
*The venu wouldn't let us in even though we bought our tickets online!!!
*Went on a hunt for a bathroom and almost didnt find one in time
*Met some cool Australian peeps and danced a little
*Lost or had my cell phone stolen!
*Walked back to Amsterdam Central for the first train at 7an
*Got home around 8am
*Slept tell noon!
TERRIBLE NEW YEARS!!!

Ok well that doesnt sound fun at all. Sorry about all that. Hopefully this year will be a little better then the last day of last year.
Yeah I sure hope its not a sign to teh new year! I dont think it is!
That is such a sad story. I have had plenty of "should have been fantastic" days go horribly wrong like that! I feel for ya! :(
