Singing for Ipods in Den Haag's Scheveningen!

I am finally getting up to date on my bloggage. This blog is going to explain the slide show that will come in the next hour or so. Then NO MORE Back Tracking. Moving Forward...

Last Sunday, the 7th, myself and two friends (Becky and Anel) went to Den Haag to visit the Ocean! Click here to see where in Holland Den Haag, Scheveningen is! It's about 1hr 30min by train from Naarden-Bussum. Anel is from South Africa(Cape Town) and also an AuPair very close to where I live. Her kids go to the same school as mine. We love Anel, but mostly because she lets us "Click" at her and tease her a bit! haha Anyhow, in South Africa it is SUMMER time for them. She has wanted to go swimming in the Ocean all year and leaves back home in 2 weeks. So, Becky and I decided to go with her while she swam in the ocean in the middle of DECEMBER!!! It was a COLD, drizzly, windy day and had snowed twice the week before. Crazy you ask? Yes!!! We still thought it was a grand idea. I was coming along to take pictures, fearing I would go into shock if I swam! Once we arrived Anel woosed out and only went in up to her knee. Becky and I joined the fun. It was, as expected, ICE COLD! No worries we were prepared for full body Emerson. So, feet were no problem. I had brought a "Kruik" (hot water bottle) and Towel. All three of us had extra clothes and socks. As the sun started to set we headed back to the pier to warm up on Becky's tea she brought. We were starving and Becky had Fresh soup waiting for us at the house. We headed home, ate, and played cards. Tired and bored, we took a walk (on beckys suggestion) to the BIG play ground stuff near the house. We had a blast!!! hehehe Becky has some pictures and details on her BLOG as well! Last is my tribute to Becky's and MY ipod! We used a program called ephod. First Becky lost all 8,000 of her songs with it. As a good deed after she left I attempted to give her my 6,000 songs with the same program(Stupid move I know). Only to loose all of mine as well! What a SAD TIME!!! Becky had a TON on hers and it was all great music. Now, she has to start from scratch. Lucky for me Cody reminded me that his ipod is an exact copy of all my music!!! Thank goodness for that. As a tribute to the lost music I am hereby requesting 30 seconds of Silence followed by a beautiful **song sung by Anel in the ipods behalf! **See the Video that follows this blog!!! If anyone has music they would like to send her, then let me know and I will get it to her!!!
