The Paris Update!

I am completely exhausted, but REALLY want to blog about our adventures in Paris. So, I will do my best to give details here. However, I STRONGLY suggest you visit BECKY and RACHAEL'S Blogs. They both have been keeping up fairly well. In that case I will blog with a few pictures to give you an idea. Read the other blogs for different details and I PROMISE a slide show blog shortly! Deal?....

Day 1:

We arrived in Paris around 9:30 am and headed to our hotel. The hotel was fairly close to Disney, but off the main track. The location was MUCH better then last time. Also there is a grocery store close by. We took full advantage and bought cheap bread and cheese lunch every day! After checking in we hopped on a train to the opposite side of Paris and on to Versailles. It was gorgeous and fun to see. I am obviously not that informed and had no clue it was where Marie Antoinette lived there. The gardens were impressive. We walked back to the train station and found a great little Merry go round. Oh was it merry!

Day 2:
Lovely Notre Dame! The view was well worth the trek!

First there was the Massive hike up the spiral stairs. I'm telling you it was big. A friend we made in line behind us had to have help back down because it was so exhausting.
We all had sore calfs and legs....then we headed to the Louvre! It was just as grand as last time, but I think we were all too exhausted to enjoy it enough. We did have a lovely lunch on the grounds. Sheesh there were a lot of people there making out. Eh well at least we had a show! haha Then we headed to dinner.
It seemed like a small cheesy place, but we were all pleasantly surprised. Great price, good quality food, and lovely live jazz band. It was a great way to relax and top off our day!

Day 3:
Then there was DISNEY!!!

We met Jack Sparrow...who was VERY French, Sully, and Mr. Bean(haha j.k)! Anyhow, We love Disney and of course had a grand time! Dinner that night was at The Rainforest Cafe in the Disney Village. I was so tired I was falling asleep at the table and hardly remember what I ate, but it was yummy! heheee

Day 4:
This was our last day in Paris. We tried to fit what we could in. First up....
Arch De Triumph. Lovely...Then we rushed to .....

The Eiffel Tower...
We enjoyed the view from up above. We had a nice warm panini and sat and enjoyed the scenery!

Our plane departed at 7:30 and we were back in Amsterdam by 9:30. All in all I call it a great trip. Though, I am still recovering. It was an ultimate tourist-a-thon! I would do it again anytime. Now, we just need to prepare for London in 2 days!!! Woot!!! hehehe Wow that was MUCH longer then I wanted to do. Oh well. I hope you all liked it!!!

Loved your "mini" report of your Paris trip and the pictures. It looks like you had great weather, too. Butt, I'm not sure about the Eifle Tower picture!!!
