Millions of Peaches! Peaches for me!

Sheesh it's been over a week since I last blogged. No wonder no one comments anymore! haha

Recap:

Thursday I went to my favorite little market in town. As I was perusing the goods I walked by the fruit/veggie stand and saw some delicious peaches! I didn't know it but I had been craving them all summer. Peach cobbler in particular! I went home with a bunch and then made some REALLY yummy peach cobbler! It seems the family doesn't always like the treats I make. I guess they are usually too sweet. However, the kids put a good foot forward and tried it. SUCCESS! Good thing to because I would have ended up eating the whole thing on my own if not!

Coincidentally I talked to my mom this on Friday and she was telling me that I should be Jealous because its the time of year for peach pickin' at the church orchards. Since they live so close and usually help out they had a bunch at the house! No mom I'm not jealous....Yummy cobbler did the job!

Friday was a normal day. I went with Max, Beaudine, and two friends to Monkey town. It's the huge indoor jungle gym. I must say the place used to drive me crazy! It's stinky, noisy, and crowded. Now I am learning to love it. The kids are entertained, happy, and I don't have to do more then keep an eye on them. Not so bad!

Today, Saturday, was nice and relaxing. I went for a nice bike ride into town to pay my part of our Paris package. That was a nice relief to have done. Then I went home and spent some time for myself reading and such. The weekend has just begun, but I think it will all be about like today. I really don't have any more money to go anywhere not on bike! hehee

Peaches, peaches, peaches! Your cobbler looks delicious. Did you have the recipe or did you find one on the Internet? We've had peach cobbler twice in the past 10 days and it just keeps getting better...add a little low-fat vanilla ice cream and voila, a master piece!
